Last year LinkUSystems, Inc.
started a program called LEAP (Learn. Experience. Acquire. Prepare.).
This program allows a recent graduate, student or other person
interested in web design, graphic design, web development and its
related fields to obtain real world experience in order to build their
resume.
Recently our initial LEAP program participants have moved on to bigger and better jobs and now we are looking for more talented people to take their spots, so we are hiring immediately to fill these positions!

Candidate is required to have at least some knowledge in Flash or/and SwishMax, Photoshop, FrontPage (or similar program ie: Dreamweaver), HTML, CSS,
Windows and MS Office Suite. Candidate should be sharp and able to catch on quickly. Candidate should be interested in entering the field of web design or development as a career.
Your duties would include: Answering support
calls, assisting clients with their websites and e-mail, assisting
in modification to existing websites. In addition to phone support, duties of this position involve, assisting clients with their
websites, making website design changes using Photoshop and FTP, edits and modifications,
working with HTML, troubleshooting issues on client websites and
several additional related tasks, as well as possibly creating new websites and designs. If you are just out of school and
looking for real world experience and plenty of room for advancement
this may be the perfect job for you.
Additional
knowledge in JavaScript, MS Outlook, CSS or another programming language such as ASP, is a HUGE plus, but not
required.
Pay: $8-$10/hr. (depending on experience). / 8-20 Hours a Week (Ranging M-F between 8am-5pm)
Time Period: Temporary position, starting at 90 days, but can be extended. Also depending on availability and skills, opportunity for increased hours or full-time employment is possible.

Candidate should have excellent customer service skills are required and an upbeat attitude. Should like to work with people and talk to clients on the phone. In additiona, some knowledge in Photoshop, FrontPage (or similar program ie: Dreamweaver), HTML,
Windows and MS Office Suite would be very helpful. Individual should be sharp and able to catch on quickly. You will need to learn the control panel that our customers use to manager their websites.

billing and collections, assisting in
answering support
calls, assisting clients with their websites and e-mail, training clients in using the system, assisting
in modification to existing websites and designs using their website control panel. If you are just out of school and
looking for real world experience and plenty of room for advancement
this may be the perfect job for you. Intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and typing
skills are necessary for this job position.
Applicant must have the ability to organize, multi-task and
prioritize accordingly, have excellent verbal and written skills,
and dependable. We deal with clients on a daily basis, therefore,
Positive attitude is a must. Since we are a smaller company
there is plenty of room for advancement.
